Its services cover the full energy lifecycle, including system design and planning, installation, commissioning, service and maintenance, lifecycle planning, fuel management, environmental services, and specialized power projects. AVK also develops and supplies modular PowerPods and prime-power and microgrid solutions for data centres and other organisations requiring reliable and resilient power infrastructure. The company operates across the UK and Europe, with offices and facilities in the UK, Ireland, Germany, and the Netherlands. AVK traces its UK origins to 1989, when its founding partners identified the potential of rotary UPS technology developed by the German AVK/SEG joint venture. The UK legal entity, originally incorporated as AVK/SEG (UK) Limited, was renamed AVK/SEG Limited in April 2024.
