About Prime Infrastructure Capital, Inc.
Prime Infrastructure Capital, Inc. (Prime Infra) is an infrastructure company that develops, owns, and operates energy, water, and waste management assets, mainly in the Philippines. In energy, it operates the Malampaya deep-water gas-to-power project through Prime Energy, holding a 45% interest. Malampaya is the Philippines’ only major domestic gas field and supplies a significant share of Luzon’s electricity. Prime Infra also controls First Gen’s Batangas gas-fired power plants (about 2,000 MW) and its offshore LNG terminal. It is building the 1,400 MW Pakil and 600 MW Wawa pumped-storage hydropower projects. Through Terra Solar (MTerra Solar), it is building a large solar-plus-battery storage project to supply Meralco. Since 2026 it also owns SierraCol Energy, Colombia’s largest independent oil producer. In water, it controls Manila Water, the concessionaire for Metro Manila’s East Zone, and develops the Wawa Bulk Water Supply Project. It also runs waste-to-energy and waste management businesses through Prime Waste. Its customers include utilities, electricity distributors such as Meralco, water utilities, government agencies, and millions of households served through its concessions. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in Pasay City, Philippines.
