About Paradigm Equity Partners
Paradigm Equity Partners is a lower middle-market private equity firm that acquires corporate carve-outs and other special-situation businesses, taking full or majority control. Its focus is the United States and Canada, and it also pursues carve-outs and operations in Mexico and carve-outs in Western Europe. Backed by committed capital and a streamlined diligence process, the firm closes deals without financing contingencies, giving sellers a quick and dependable exit. In December 2023, it completed its first publicly disclosed investment, buying E&R Industrial Sales, an industrial supplies distributor, from Grainger. Paradigm targets companies with $40 million to $500 million in revenue, EBITDA ranging from negative up to $30 million (usually with margins below 15%) and enterprise values of up to $150 million, and it will make add-on acquisitions of any size. It invests across manufacturing (aerospace and defense, automotive, consumer products, electronics, food and beverage, healthcare products, machinery and metal fabrication), distribution (building products, industrial and MRO, healthcare and machinery components) and industrials (chemicals and plastics, paper and packaging, outsourced product services, and rail and transportation). Its deals include corporate divestitures, founder- and family-owned businesses, recapitalizations and restructurings, legacy private equity holdings, assets held in lenders’ workout groups, and debt-to-equity swaps, whether domestic or cross-border. Paradigm works with experienced management teams to improve underperforming or non-core businesses through automation, process improvements, business development, recapitalization and growth through acquisitions. Paradigm Equity Partners was founded in 2022 by Roman Zelinsky, its Managing Partner, and is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, United States.
