A&M Capital Europe (AMCE) is the pan-European middle-market private equity investment strategy of A&M Capital. It makes control and significant minority investments, mainly in Western European businesses, with selective investments in Eastern Europe. With €650 million in assets under management, its first fund closed at its hard cap, well above the original target of €400 million. The strategy has completed 25 transactions, and its portfolio companies employ about 15,000 people. AMCE targets enterprise values of €75 million to €500 million and EBITDA of €15 million to €50 million, typically investing €50 million to €150 million per transaction. The firm invests across IT services, business services, industrial services, healthcare services, and specialist industrials. Its investment activities include management buyouts, founder and family ownership transitions, build-ups and consolidations, corporate divestitures, and public-to-private transactions. AMCE partners with management teams to accelerate growth through organic initiatives, buy-and-build strategies and international expansion, and to improve operational excellence. It draws on deep industry relationships and on strategic and operational support from Alvarez & Marsal’s consulting network.
