KANAMEL, Inc. is an advertising and content production holding company whose subsidiaries plan and produce TV commercials, digital video, and other marketing content in Japan and internationally. Its two main operating companies are AOI Pro. and TYO, both long-established Japanese producers of TV commercials. Together they also produce web and social media video, run events and experiential marketing, operate photography and post-production studios, produce feature films and TV dramas, and provide communication design and creative consulting. It calls this approach “creative consulting and construction.” Its customers are advertising agencies, which hire it to produce content, and brands, which hire it directly for campaign strategy, planning, and production. It has about 20 to 30 group companies, with operations in Japan, Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Singapore), and the United States (Stadium and Subset Studio). It is developing generative AI tools for internal use and for clients. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan.
