Cloud.com served telecommunications providers, hosting companies, enterprises, and government organizations with cloud automation, virtualization management, and infrastructure orchestration solutions. The company was founded in 2008 and was headquartered in Cupertino, California, United States. In 2011, Cloud.com, Inc. was acquired by Citrix Systems, Inc., and CloudStack later became an open-source project under the Apache Software Foundation.
