BioFred Wakeman joined Advent in 1998. Prior to Advent, Fred was a director in GE Capital's equity capital group, where he specialised in later-stage growth capital investments, primarily in the media and business services sectors in both the US and Europe.Fred received double BAs in Economics and History from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the Georgetown University School of Business.
