Since 1996, Mr. Newell and his brother, Mr. Henry H. Newell, founded and managed Tech Investments, which owned and operated 10 Aerospace & Defense companies specializing in manufacturing structural components and large assemblies. Prior to those investments and the founding of Orizon, Mr. Newell managed several businesses for FEDNAV, LTD (Tech Industries largest investor) and was an auditor for Touché Ross and Company. Mr. Newell graduated from the University of Kansas with degrees in Business Administration and Accounting.

Since 1996, Mr. Newell and his brother Mr. Charles M. Prior to joining Orizon, Scott worked at Valent Aerostructures for six years, where he held various positions, including Director of Major Programs, responsible for quality, delivery and cost performance of all large assembly programs. Scott also worked at LMI Aerospace for two years and served as Vice President and General Manager of Machining before joining Orizon in 2015. Scott has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Kansas.

Mr. Deuel is instrumental in procuring venture capital and senior debt financing. His expertise in implementing consolidated financial reporting and ERP systems is critical in the development of Orizon. Previously, he served as CFO of several mid-market growth companies with multiple buy and sell side transaction experiences.
Mr. Deuel is a Certified Public Accountant with previous experience as an auditor with DeLoitte and Touche and as a partner in a local CPA firm. He graduated from Rockhurst University with a B.S.B.A. in accounting where he also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board.

Mr. McLaughlin joined Orizon in May 2018 as the Senior Vice President. He has been recognized for consistently delivering results and creating new business opportunities. Declan is an empowering leader that is skilled in developing and building productive teams. Prior to joining Orizon Declan served has Senior Vice President for The Marmon Group where he was responsible for five individual industrial companies focused on power, energy, agriculture and chemical markets.
Declan graduated from the Open University in London, UK with a degree in Business as well as an Engineering degree from the College of NW London, UK

Mr. Reitz joined Orizon in 2018 as the Vice President of Corporate Development. He has extensive exposure to a variety of industrial and manufacturing operations that was acquired through his prior officer positions at Aquila, Inc., Entergy Corporation and Caterpillar Inc.
Chris is a CPA and lawyer and has a Juris Doctorate, Business and Accounting degrees from the University of Kansas.

Mr. Newell has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry as a commodities and stock broker. He became a Registered Commodities Trading Advisor and managed Wolcott & Lincoln’s rental brokerage department at the Kansas City Board of Trade.

Mr. McClure is responsible for creation of long-term value for the organization. Prior to joining Orizon, David worked in the private equity sector with HM Dunn AeroSystems for approximately 8 years, where he held the position of Corporate Vice President of Business Development and Sales.

Mrs. Poe is the Sr. Executive Assistant and office manager responsible for coordinating a comprehensive list of projects, corporate presentations, customer/vendor relations, and support for the Executive Leadership team. Prior to joining Orizon, she was the Communications & Branding Manager for LMI Aerospace.

Mr. Unkel has over 19 years of strategic sourcing and senior management experience in the aerospace industry. Prior to joining Orizon, he was a Senior Manager at Honda Aircraft Company and a Director of Strategic sourcing at Cessna.

Mr. Crumrine is Orizon Director of Human Resources. He is responsible for all Human Resource activities, including benefits, employee relations and performance management. Previously he served for 25 years in the Human Resources field for health care and information technology sectors.

Mr. Spellman is the Orizon Director of Information Technology. He is responsible for the Orizon technology vision, network and infrastructure for all manufacturing facilities and locations. Marc has over 15 years in the industry and most recently served as the Chief Information Officer for Missouri Bank & Trust complying within strict FDIC requirements.

Mr. Thompson is responsible for the facilitation and direction of strategic and operational initiatives to maximize enterprise value. He previously worked at Precision Manufacturing, and also with Citigroup and Morgan Stanley, leading regional initiatives to drive revenue growth and gain market share.

Mr. Self has more than 15 years of operations experience. He manages Orizon’s NKC, MO facility. Previously, he worked at Triumph Structures as Operations Manager. Before that, he worked in the supply chain/logistics field with BF Goodrich Aerospace.

Mr. Hutchison manages operations for Orizon’s Owasso, OK facility. Prior to joining Orizon, he worked for Clark Seals as an Account Executive and then transitioned into the position of Quality & Plant Manager of their production operations.

Prior to joining Orizon, Mr. Crumley was General Manager for LMI Aerospace and the Director of Operations for 3P Processing. He has over 10 years of experience in operations management in the Aerospace industry, specializing in the processing field.

Mr. Martin served for more than 10 years as Chief Financial Officer at Precision Manufacturing. In 2010, he became Chief Operating Officer. As of 2017, Mr. Martin assumed the role of Senior Business Analyst at Orizon Grove.

Mr. Richter joined Orizon as the Accounting Manager in July 2016, He was promoted to Corporate Controller in June 2017. Travis has successfully developed and implemented standardized financial reporting as well as tracking various capital expenditure budgets for all locations. Prior to joining Orizon, Travis worked for Black & Veatch and Machine Laboratory, LLC as the Accounting Manager.

Mr. Hall joined Orizon in 2015 as the Estimator for Business Development. Prior to joining Orizon, David worked for Spirit Aerosystems and Boeing Company. He has over 30 years in the Aerospace industry in estimating, supply chain management, quality and production management.

Mr. Robinson joined Orizon in 2016 as the Controller for our North Kansas Facility, he was promoted later that year to the Director of Business Systems & Finance where he developed a team and implemented our new ERP system by combining all locations into one entity. Prior to joining Orizon he worked for LMI Aerospace, Inc. as the controller for the Valent Aerostructures division. Brooks has over 13 years experience in the manufacturing, aerospace and defense industries.
